The Texas Association of Venues & Facilities originated in 1997 when a group of leaders in East Texas formed an organization to share resources and ideas. Originally known as the Texas Civic Center Association, TxAVF has been recognized as a statewide organization.
Today, TxAVF operates as a 5013c and continues to offer membership benefits to Texas public assembly facilities, recreation facilities, and industry-specific vendors.
