The Texas Association of Venues & Facilities originated in 1997 when a group of leaders in East Texas formed an organization to share resources and ideas. Originally known as the Texas Civic Center Association, TxAVF has been recognized as a statewide organization.
Today, TxAVF operates as a 5013c continues to offer membership benefits to Texas public assembly facilities, recreation facilities, and industry specific vendors.
Association Objectives & Purpose:
To learn other venue policies, strategies and services offered that may enhance your own operations.
To provide education opportunities from industry professionals at bi-monthly hybrid meetings.
To host a low cost Annual Conference in desirable locations where networking is encouraged, ideas are shared and new energy is found.
To provide a forum for new, interesting and helpful products and services.
